Indoor Training Day

February 22, 2019

Training & Demo 9:00 am -  12:00 pm
​12:00-1:00pm Pot luck lunch

Non-Member/Guest fee is $10.00 per person or $25.00 with dog

We suggest you bring the following items if you have them:
  • Chair
  • Drinking water for you and your dog
  • Crate/kennel for putting dog up
  • Check cord
  • Leash/lead
  • Bumpers/Dummies
  • Lunch or potluck item if participating
Other items you may want to bring to training: 
  • Other training aids you use (food, ball, tugs, place boards)
  • Bowls for Food or Energy Treats
  • Dog First Aid Kit
  • Snacks
  • Lunch or potluck item if participating/ plug ins but no use of oven or stove

We will be having a Guest:​
Delia Loomis Certified Therapist
From D’s Equine and Canine Therapy Doing talk and demo Chiropractic,acupressure,massage and stretches for hunting  Dogs.
Treatments for your dogs available after the demo at a  reduced price for Club members  of $35 per dog (regular price is $50).

Limited number of pigeons will be available for order on registration page.

Please come with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and your questions about the training. Get your year started off right, work on Obedience, Steadiness, Trained Retrieve or another skill you might want to work on. ​​

We hope everyone had a successful hunting season.  We look forward to our new 2020 membership year.  You can begin signing up for your 2020 membership here.

We also want to announce our first indoor training session on January 25, 2020 at 9am.  Following training we will have a potluck lunch and a guest speaker talking about "Hunting Dog First Aid".  More details to come... (please sign up for the training day)

AGM - January 25, 2020 at 1:30 - 3:30pm 
Please attend as your participation is important to the club operation.  Each year we need volunteers.

This is just a training advisory.  Just as a precaution.  Blue green algae has shown back up at Bigelow Dam and we advise to avoid water training there until further notice.

NA Dogs
  • order NA Field (gets minimum 6 exposures to birds on tethers or in launchers)
  • Track (minimum 1 track of dead bird – If you purchase a pheasant will be track of your live pheasant
  • Water work – N/C

UPT / UT Dogs (2 days available – note day(s) you are attending and remember to order birds accordingly
  • Order birds for field in sets of 3 combo or your choice
  • Water work – order duck(s) for search, mark, (could be same duck?) And drag - Or bring dead duck for your use
