Due to the current developments with the COVID-19 outbreak in Alberta, we have had to cancel all events through May 2020. Please check back regularly or visit the facebook page for announcements for registration to our next event.
Registrations are open for Members on the website for this years test. We will open up entries to non members April 1st so get your entries in quickly - we expect to fill up quickly.
Test Registration Information A reminder - the owner and handler of the dogs running in NAVHDA test must also be NAVHDA International members. Please double check your registration numbers for your dogs and for yourself. Incorrect information on the entry forms could credit another dog for your performance. We will be having a Guest: Delia Loomis Certified Therapist From D’s Equine and Canine Therapy Doing talk and demo Chiropractic,acupressure,massage and stretches for hunting Dogs. Treatments for your dogs available after the demo at a reduced price for Club members of $35 per dog (regular price is $50). Limited number of pigeons will be available for order on registration page. Please come with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and your questions about the training. Get your year started off right, work on Obedience, Steadiness, Trained Retrieve or another skill you might want to work on. A little test information:
This test is for dogs under 16 Months of age. The video gives an overview of the four areas of the test. It's a good watch. Each year we need volunteers. ![]() The Jocelyn Maciborsky Memorial Fun Hunt 2019 was a great time for all participants. Ron with Sky and Sue with Harper were the winners this year with 9 birds and 11 shots. The runners up were Wayne with Teaka and Mary with Haven, 9 Birds and 16 shots. The most efficient team was Cal with Stitch and Wayne with Loki, 7 birds with 7 shots! WOW! Thanks to everyone that came out to enjoy the day of fun and friendship.
